About Us

We have owned the Red Lion Inn at Partney since October 2006.  We offer award winning traditional English food, excellent accommodation and a very warm welcome in a quiet village on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The accommodation on the first floor of the Inn was fully refurbished in 2007 and in 2009 we added two additional ground floor rooms.  We are proud to have been awarded a “Highly Commended” in the Tastes of Lincolnshire Awards 2009.

We were voted runner up in the Lincolnshire Life “A Taste of Excellence” awards 2008/09 in the category Best Pub Food.
We have also been awarded a gold citation in the Lincolnshire Life “A Taste of Excellence“ awards for the last 7 years. We are listed in both the AA Pub Guide and The Good Pub Guide.

‘Pub food as it should be’ and ‘just like mother used to make’ are two comments we regularly receive.  All our main meals are homemade, our portions are generous, we source locally wherever possible and our prices are sensible.  In addition to our extensive main menu, daily specials are available. Our dessert menu is huge too with over 20 homemade choices!

A good selection of wines is available from our wine list and our real ales are maintained to the highest quality.

Wherever possible we use locally sourced produce. Our meat is reared locally
and supplied by R C Holmes Family Butchers  of Burgh le Marsh, our fish is supplied
by Moorcrofts of Grimsby and we buy our vegetables from local farms.
